This was a perfect place for our family to gather to celbrate Katie and Matthew's wedding. the "Northern" group traveled form Latrobe and Dubois, PA for the wedding of our little Katie, whose family lives here in Asheville. We always have fun when the North and South get together and this house was the best! We felt at home the minute we walked in the door!

As a member of the American Farmland Trust, I especially congratulate you on your decision to preserve this farm and save it from developers. I think you should get yourself written up in our organizations' magazine.

Thank you for arranging such beautiful weather in January. I love the stonework and wooden faces around the property. Some day, after the baby is born, I'd love to come back to pick blueberries, explore the bees/honey production, feed chickens, etc. We plan to have many family adventures and hope to teach our children about conservation and other values you live by. Thank you for the relaxing get away.

What a great get=away! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was like being in our own kitchen. We had everything we needed from pots and turkey roasting pan to spices in the cabinet. My family loves the mountains. We have been to Bryson City many times camping. The farm like area was fun to my niece and she thought the chickens were funny. Also thanks for all the emails answering my many questions before we got here.

This really is "Cloud 9" we had a wonderful time here and truly relaxed in this beautiful house. Hiking to Mt. LeConte was a highlight of our trip to this area. We love the rooster calls highlighting our time chatting on the deck.

Thank-you, Janet, for providing us with everything needed to make a restful and relaxing vacation possible. The past ten days have enabled us to recharge our batteries in order to face the challenges at home.
We enjoyed our time just chilling out. Feeding the chickens, mooing at the cows, soaking in the hot tub, nand the bon fires elicited thoughts of times past. The s'mores were pretty wonderful, too!
Fun things to do outside of this paradise included the mineral baths at Hot Springs, the curbside market in Hendersonville, and a drive out to Jump-Off Rock. Get directions at the visitor's center.
If you really want to indulge yourself, spend a day at the Grove Park Spa, very expensive, but worth every penny.
Anything Asheville and don't forget a drive and picnic on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Looking forward to the next adventure at Cloud 9.

A long-awaited family reunion and memorial to a very special lady was highlighted by the hospitality and peacefulneess of Janet and Cloud 9. It's a vacation we will remember fo years to come. Loved feeding the chickens, talking to the cows, hiking to "Buzzard's Roost," listening to the sounds of nature and watching the morning sun through the kitchen window. Very homey, comfortable and well-stocked. Thanks for making it possible.
